LifeChurch.tv Prepares For “One Prayer” Summer Initiative

Starting June 7th-8th, LifeChurch.tv is launching bold new initiative aimed at uniting churches from all across the world to make a local and global impact through outreach.
Through the usage of video, Senior Pastor Craig Groeschel is partnering with several other notable Christian leaders and pastors for a four-week sermons series entitled, "One Prayer."
Participating pastors like Ed Young of Fellowship Church (Dallas, Texas), Jentezen Franklin of Free Chapel (Gainseville, GA) and Dr. Samuel Chand (Atlanta, GA) are just some of the many leaders who will be created special video messages that churches will be able to show to their respective congregations.
"Think about the benefits," said Groeschel in a promotional message. "You can have three weekends off in the month of June, and you can infuse some spiritual power in your church during a normally dead month."
"But the most important thing is we stand together...that we lift up the name of Jesus."
To date, over 900 churches have signed up to become a part of the One Prayer initiative.
At OnePrayer.com, the website for the summer initiative, church leaders and believers alike can join together to fast and to pray as one during the four weeks. Participants can also utilize the site to submit the names of persons who do not know Christ so that other believers can pray for them.
"We're going to pray for miracles together," said Groeschel. The One Prayer initiative will also collect offerings in order to donate to regions where people are in need, while participating churches are encouraged to partake in missions activities in their local communities.
LifeChurch.tv, named one of the most innovative churches in the country by Outreach Magazine, has over 13 campuses throughout the state of Okahoma and several other states via the internet.
